Voice Message Service


Services Processes
   
VMS @ Normal Voice Call Tariff (free till the 25th midnite) Customers can activate or deactivate their own VMS by sending email mssgs from their handsets

   
To Deactivate
  • dvms@multilinks.com, Deact
  • Send to 990
To Activate
  • avms@multilinks.com, Act
  • Send to 990
 
To set up and customize the VMS, the subscriber has to
   
Send email to avms@multilinks.com as listed above and wait for confirmatory SMS from Multilinks informing him of Set Up
Once confirmation is received Call *177 from his Multi Links phone
Follow IVR menu and go to Setting Up of Your Mailbox ( press 4 on keypad after listening to instructions)
Press 1 on keypad to attach personal greetings
Press 2 to set up Voice Signature
Press 4 to set up mailbox passwor
 
To modify these details The subscriber will ….
   
Call *177 from his Multi Links phone
Follow IVR menu and go to Modify ( press 3 on keypad after listening to instructions)
Press 1 on keypad to amend personal greetings
Press 2 to change Voice Signature
Press 4 to set up mailbox password
Press 9 to exit the menu
 
To Access mailbox and listen to waiting mssgs, the subscriber should…
   
Dial *177 from his Multi Links phone
Enter password followed by the hash key
Press 1 to listen to Voice and Fax mssgs
 
After listening to a mssg the subscriber can
   
Press 1 to replay the mssg
Press 4 to keep the mssg
Press 5 to delete the mssg
   
While listening to a mssg you can
   
Press 7 to pause and to resume listening to the mssg
Press 3 to forward the mssg by 8 seconds
Press 33 to forward the mssg to the end of the mssg
Press 1 to rewind 8 Secs
Press 11 Rewind to the beginning of the mssg
Press 111 Rewind to beginning of the previous mssg
   
At any point during this phone call to VMS, a subscriber can
   
Dial 8 for help
Dial * to exit (Alternatively he can just cut his phone)
